Chapter 621: The Champion Became A Billboard
Chapter 621: The Champion Became A Billboard
The referee quickly flew down toward the broken arena.
Several medical cultivators had already rushed to Kaelvar’s side, using cooling formations and healing lights to stabilize his massive dragon body.
Even though Kaelvar had lost, no one looked down on him.
The fight had been too fierce.
But at this moment, all eyes were on Dahlia.
The referee landed a few steps away from her and raised his voice through the formation speaker. "Champion Dahlia Draconia!"
The crowd roared again.
Dahlia turned her head, still breathing heavily.
The referee smiled professionally and asked, "As this month’s Newbie Tournament champion, do you have any words for the audience?"
The arena immediately became quieter.
Countless spectators leaned forward.
Even the floating recording crystals turned toward Dahlia from every direction.
Inside the private viewing room, Garion’s eyes suddenly brightened. "Oh?"
Alira’s expression changed. "Wait..."
Garion slowly grinned.
Back in the arena, Dahlia blinked.
Then her grin widened. "Of course I do."
The referee politely handed the voice-amplifying crystal toward her.
Dahlia grabbed it without hesitation.
For a second, she looked across the endless crowd.
Then she pointed one thumb proudly at herself. "I am Dahlia Draconia, first disciple of God Gym."
Her voice echoed through the entire tournament site. "And now, as the champion, I’ll say this clearly."
She grinned wider. "God Gym is exactly what you’re thinking."
A strange silence filled the arena.
Dahlia continued confidently. "It’s a gym."
Many spectators froze.
"A... gym?"
"She said gym?"
"What kind of mysterious force introduces itself like that?"
Dahlia laughed. "But better."
She raised one fist, thunder crackling faintly around it. "We train people. We make weak bodies stronger, strong bodies stronger, and monsters even more monstrous."
Her eyes shone with pride. "If you want to get stronger, if you want real training, if you want someone to beat the weakness out of your body..."
She pointed toward the screen. "Then come to God Gym."
Inside the private room, Alira slowly covered her face.
Garion, however, looked like he had just seen a perfect advertisement.
Dahlia continued, completely shameless. "Of course, we don’t train people for free."
The crowd became even quieter.
Dahlia nodded seriously. "We train anyone..."
Then she grinned. "For a price."
A few merchants in the crowd suddenly widened their eyes.
Some faction representatives exchanged glances.
Dahlia raised the crystal higher. "So if you’re interested, go ask around at Astral Cosmic Terminal One!"
Her voice blasted across the arena. "Ask for God Gym!"
Then she paused, thought for a second, and added proudly. "And ask for my master, Garion!"
The arena went silent for half a heartbeat.
Then the entire place exploded.
"God Gym accepts trainees?!"
"They actually sell training?"
"A mysterious force that raised the champion is open for business?"
"Where is Astral Cosmic Terminal One?!"
Inside the viewing room, Garion slowly stood up.
His grin was almost blinding.
Alira lowered her hand and stared at him. "You planned this."
Garion placed one hand on his chest. "Alira..."
He smiled like the most innocent man alive. "I’m just a humble gym owner."
Alira sighed deeply.
She had already expected Garion to use the tournament as advertisement.
But somehow, actually hearing Dahlia shout it in front of the entire arena still made her head hurt.
"She really said everything," Alira muttered.
Garion crossed his arms proudly. "Perfect delivery."
"Perfect?" Alira looked at him. "She announced that your mysterious force is just a gym that trains anyone for money."
Garion nodded. "Exactly. Clear branding."
Alira stared at him silently.
Garion grinned. "What? People like things they can understand."
Before Alira could answer, the arena below became even louder.
Countless spectators were already discussing God Gym. Some were shocked. Some were excited. Some were confused. Some looked like they wanted to run straight to Astral Cosmic Terminal One and ask for details immediately.
Alira glanced at the crowd, then sighed again. "Fine. Let’s return first."
Garion turned toward her. "Return where?"
Alira looked at him. "That’s what I’m asking. Where do you want to go?"
Garion grinned without hesitation. "My planet."
Alira’s eye twitched slightly. "Your planet?"
"Yeah." Garion pointed toward the arena screen, where Dahlia was still waving at the crowd like an arrogant champion. "Tell Paren that anyone who wants training should come to my planet."
Alira’s expression froze.
Then she slowly turned her head toward him. "Garion."
"What?"
"Your planet is crazy."
Garion laughed. "I know."
"No, I don’t think you understand." Alira’s voice became sharper.
"That planet is crazy enough to make normal Awakening Realm cultivators question their life choices."
Garion’s grin widened. "Exactly."
Alira stared at him.
Garion placed both hands on his hips and nodded seriously. "Anyone who wants to train needs to be a little crazy."
Alira’s mouth twitched. "That is not how customer recruitment usually works."
Garion smiled brightly. "But it is how God Gym works. Don’t worry Miss Alira. I know what to do."
Alira wanted to argue.
She really did.
But after watching Dahlia defeat Kaelvar Ignis in front of the entire tournament, she could no longer say his method didn’t work.
Garion leaned slightly closer and grinned. "Now please, Miss Alira. Can you deliver us back to our planet?"
Alira closed her eyes for a moment.
Then she let out one long, tired breath. "Fine."
Garion raised a fist. "Nice."
"But I’m warning you," Alira said, pointing at him. "If people actually come and start dying on that planet, that becomes a serious problem."
Garion waved his hand casually. "Relax. We won’t let customers die."
Alira narrowed her eyes. "Customers?"
Garion smiled. "Future disciples, future clients, future walking advertisements."
Alira sighed for the third time. "You are unbelievable."
Garion laughed and looked back at the arena, where Dahlia was finally walking away from the center of the battlefield with the championship lights shining over her.
His grin softened slightly. "No."
He watched his first disciple raise her fist one more time to the roaring crowd. "I just know what God Gym can do."
