Chapter 335: Major Meeting and Meeting Again. Part VI

Chapter 335: Major Meeting and Meeting Again. Part VI

“Don’t worry, babe. I won’t do that, if...”

“You won’t do that, even if they start it first. Please don’t use Vincent’s habit for a moment.”

The gorgeous girl cut him off like she knew what he was thinking. And hearing that, Wisana laughed even more.

“But, babe, Wisana is not going to let anyone pick on him as well.” He whispered in an annoying voice.

“Come on, Na. I’m serious right now.”

The man laughed cheerfully after hearing that.

“Okay, got it. I’m not going to mess this up. Trust me. No fight with anyone today, I promise...”

BANG!!

He did not finish his sentence when the meeting hall door swung open again. And this time it was so loud that it made everyone in the room jump at the same time. After that, they all looked at the newcomer who just purposedly slammed the door in with full strength.

Wisana was turning to look at him as well. He then saw that the newcomer who was standing tall in front of the door was wearing a long sleeve jacket with a tiger stitching on the back. had dreadlocks hair, and a pair of sunglasses that had just been taken off his face to be hung from his shirt’s front pocket.

“Let me take that back. Babe. This guy has to be the only exception.”

Wisana said in a delighted voice as an annoying smile came across his face...

“A-ha!!”

Right after his words, the dreadlock-haired newcomer growled out aloud. And he was pointing his finger forward to where Wisana was sitting as well. Seeing that, the one who was pointed at turned his face away and chose to look at the man by the corner of his eye.

“I’ve been waiting for today for so long, Vincent!” He yelled throughout the room. “You tell me which side you’re going to pick right now, red, or blue. Hurry up. So, we can beat each other up to death!”

After speaking, the dreadlocks man, who was known as “the bloody iron beast.,” stomped his feet to the stage in the meeting hall with a few of his guys tailing behind him.

“Please. At least don’t throw a fist here.”

Maysa said in a soft voice. She knew well that it was hard to hold Wisana back when it had this freaking guy involved.

“I’ll try, but I can’t promise you that.”

“Come on.”

Maysa whined wearily. Then she glanced at Waree, who was sitting far away, and saw that the other one could only smile wryly back at her as well.

“What’s up, kid? Which one are you going to choose?”

A few seconds later, the bloody iron beast, “Marcus,” who had just walked to Wisana shouted out again.

The listener was still acting like he did not hear the other with a smirk on his face.

“I’m talking to you, Vincent. Can’t you hear me?!”

This time, Marcus grabbed Wisana’s shoulder, too. After that, the one who was being called looked at the other from the corners of his eyes like Marcus was not something he should be bothered by.

“Oh, sorry, you were talking to me?”

“You!”

“Boss, this is not the time. I’m begging you. We could forfeit the war.”

A quick moment later, a small man named Wittaya, Marcus’s right hand, walked up to hold his boss back by the arm. And he had to use his entire body to do that because his boss’s arms were just as huge as a banana tree.

“I know that!” Marcus shook his minion off. “I’m not going to do anything. It’ll be a shame if we lose here before the war starts. I still have a plan to get this bastard to bleed out of my satisfaction.”

Marcus said with a brutal smile, while Wittaya was sighing out of relief.

“You’re still impetuous, as always,” Wisana spoke up in a gentle voice. “But don’t worry. I promise to be on the different side from you surely. So, you don’t have to be afraid that we’re not going to beat each other up.”

He finished speaking, before smiling softly. Meanwhile, Marcus was smirking like a demon.

“But about what you said about making me bleed, I can’t promise you that. Because I’m not the type that lets anyone do that to me so easily, you know.”

Wisana’s voice ended, and they both stared at each other right in the eyes without saying a word. The atmosphere was completely quiet in the way that everyone in the room would be able to hear a needle dropping on the floor clearly.

The rest of the meeting attendees were looking at the two without blinking. They had heard that Vincent and Marcus did not get along as well before. The moment that they almost had a fight at the player award ceremony of the year was perfect proof of that already.

But when a repulsion like that was happening again right in front of their eyes,

It made it hard for them to breathe!

Two pairs of monster’s eyes were staring at each other without a blink, while the people around were dripping sweat all over their bodies somehow. These men’s pressure was really scary.

“Good,” Marcus said softly.

“I know right?” Wisana replied.

“When it’s time, kid, I’ll kill you.”

“I’ll be looking forward to that.”

Their eyes broke away finally. Marcus and his guy named Wittaya left for their seat on the other side of the table like he wanted to stay far from this annoying guy, who could make him lose it and go straight to crush his mouth with just a few words.

The room’s atmosphere was back to normal. Everyone seemed like they started breathing again.

“See, told you no fighting.” The cheeky one turned to wink at his girlfriend in an annoying way.

“Yeah, right, thank you for keeping your word,” Maysa replied sarcastically.

“You’re welcome, Miss.”

CREAK!

After a few words of theirs, the door slowly swung open again. This time, too, everyone turned to see another newcomer in unison.

This person was a woman with shoulder-length hair and an attractive face. She was wearing fashionable sunglasses that matched her face. Also, she was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt top with a black leather jacket, and a pair of ripped jeans, looking energetic.

“O-oh, another one of the four gods has shown up.”

Wisana said with a smiley face, unlike Maysa who frowned her eyebrows right away.

“She already looks so cool in pictures. And she’s even cooler in person.” Wisana said with a smile. “Valentine of the Bunny Burner guild.”

“Pride’s number one gunner,” Maysa added softly.

Meanwhile, Marcus only glanced at the door and little. And when he saw that it was Valentine who showed up. He snorted out slightly, before turning his face away like there was nothing to care about there.

Every eye looked at the newcomer, but the atmosphere was different from when Marcus walked into the room completely. For this woman, her aura looked brighter. Many of the people in the room curled up a smile after they saw Valentine walking in, while some of them were talking to each other excitedly.

And Wisana noticed how the crowd reacted as well. So, he turned to smile at Maysa.

“She seems very popular here. But well, it’s not that surprising though, since she looks so cute.”

Hearing the word “cute” out of her boyfriend’s mouth, Maysa paused and gazed at Wisana.

“Oh, really?!” She stressed her voice. “You really can’t stop yourself when you see a cute girl, right, boss?”

“Well, I’m...”

Wisana did not finish his sentence when he suddenly paused like someone pressed the button on his remote control. He was pointing over her shoulder like he was implying her to look back and see Valentine again, but seeing that, the girl made a snorting sound in her throat, before hitting Wisana’s arm softly.

“What is it now? Calling another woman cute in front of your girlfriend is already bad enough, what are you going to compliment her now?”

“It’s not like that. Turn around and look, May.”

Wisana sounded shocked, raising his voice. And that made her curious that she had to turn around and look for herself. And even she had to gasp at what she saw.

And it was not just the two of them, Waree who was sitting below was shocked by what she saw as well. Behind one of the four gods, Valentine of the Bunny Burner guild, there was a man walking close to her. He was a black-haired man with a cold look, whose arm was being clung to by a confident-looking woman whom she had never seen before like they were lovers.

But she could recognize the man accurately right from the first glimpse of him.

...With his shiny black hair that was set to look neat today, his face that frowned most of the time, and importantly, those sharp lavender eyes as well.

Seeing that, Waree was speechless.

As well as Maysa. She had to glance at her friend with worry.

Because that guy was,

“Shin,” Waree spoke his name quietly.
